Contextualization in Practice
This session will answer the question: What does it really mean to be all things to all men? Over-contextualization can lead to the loss of the gospel, while under-contextualization can place unnecessary hindrances to the gospel. How are we to think about appropriate, God-honoring contextualization in mission work?
How Beautiful are the Feet that bring Good News
The focus of this session is placing ourselves in the history of missions. As the African church, we have gotten used to receiving missionaries, but we have not grown to see ourselves as mandated to send them out ourselves. Many of us have not considered going out because we think that other people will do the work.
Missions and Holiness (Focus on the Problem of Pornography)
This session explores the reality that there is a unique temptation towards pornography in the Mission field. Pornography is defined, the disconnect that exists in our view of the body and soul and how scripture addresses it. Practical ways of fighting pornography are given.
