Missions and Holiness (Focus on the Problem of Pornography)

This session explores the reality that there is a unique temptation towards pornography in the Mission field. Pornography is defined, the disconnect that exists in our view of the body and soul and how scripture addresses it. Practical ways of fighting pornography are given.

Michael Christ teaches at Central Africa Baptist University in Kitwe, Zambia and Africa International University. He has also served as a senior pastor in the US for seven years and spent three years in Turkey sharing the gospel while butchering the language. His areas of interest include understanding sanctification in Paul’s theology and historical theology. He did his PhD on the English Puritan Walter Marshall and loves to talk about Marshall’s helpful approach to understanding sanctification. Michael and his wife Becky have five children, who have way too much energy and frequently leave their parents baffled.
