The pastor's holiness
Michael Christ serves as the dean of seminary at Central Africa Baptist University in Kitwe, Zambia. He has also served as a senior pastor in the US for seven years and spent three years in Turkey sharing the gospel while butchering the language.
His areas of interest include understanding sanctification in Paul’s theology and historical theology. He did his PhD on the English Puritan Walter Marshall and loves to talk about Marshall’s helpful approach to understanding sanctification.
Michael and his wife Becky have five children, who have way too much energy and frequently leave their parents baffled.
The aim of the session is to relate ecclesiology to personal holiness. Help us see how the individual Christian's holiness relates to the church body, and how churches can corporately pursue this vision for holiness.
